The International contest of Nano-Micro Technology contest is an international competition open to all students interested in new technology. Hosted in Paris, from July 6th to 8th, the world final awarded the most innovative products, aiming to improve the quality of life by using a micro or nano technology component.

1468564311857322First high level competition, originally initiated in 2007 by scientists, academics and industrialists, this edition attracted over 10,000 students from 20 different countries across the world. On behalf of Proteus project, for this edition, a joint team of students from UNINOVA and ESIEE won the 2nd prize of the International Student Competition on Innovation.

The presented and awarded project named “The rolling water probe”, has been developed on the basis of the PROTEUS project and adding complementary ideas. A unique experience for students, but also Joao P. Oliveira and Elyes Nefzaoui, supervisors of the students team. An example of successful knowledge sharing and international cooperation, congratulations!!!
