EIP Water Conference 2016
On February, the city of Leeuwarden in the Netherlands was the place to be for Water related stakes. Ponsel (Bertrand Vergne), Wings Ict Solutions (Paraskevas Bourgos) and Easy Global Market (Philippe Cousin & Nicolas Giunta) represented PROTEUS project during three main events. For this occasion, a new version of project leaflet, double sided, has been released.
Ict4Water cluster Proteus presentation
On February 9th, Nicolas Giunta from Easy Global Market presented an overview of PROTEUS to the Ict4water cluster. This side event, presenting all the members projects let us the opportunity of tighten links with members but also with the water community and stakeholders attending the presentation. Paraskevas Bourgos, Wings, brought in the debates the more technical details and expected outcomes. The evening networking reception, held in Wetsus research centre, strenghten this first approach with the water community.
On February 10th, all partners attended the 3rd EIP Water Conference gathering 550 people from research, industry, public authorities and other stakeholders around the theme “How is water innovation succeeding in Europe?”. Insightfull conferences give the day its tempo but also booth visits in the exhibition space gathering research projects and industrial solutions.
On February 11th, PROTEUS members attended the Mayors and water conference aiming to disseminate towards an even more specific target such as stakeholders and public structures. Conferences highlighted the main stakes for water management and how innovation can make the cities smarter. Networking activities and real-time presence on social networks enabled PROTEUS to get in touch with the 150 people attending the event.
